Reflection
This course has challenged me to learn and to use more technology in the classroom as well as in my personal life. There were a lot of times I had no idea of how to move forward in the assignment due to never using that kind of technology before. I never created a blog or recorded myself in a discussion post, luckily, I did not struggle too bad. This experience has made me embrace the idea of continuous learning. As educators we are also life-long learners, therefore it is important for me to stay updated on the latest advancements. Striving for growth and adaptability will enable me to effectively integrate technology into my classrooms and meet the evolving needs of students. I now understand the importance of identifying the specific learning goals and student needs that can be addressed through technology tools. This will allow me to increase the impact of technology on student engagement, learning outcomes, and creativity.
I always enjoy learning and collaborating with my peers throughout the course. I really enjoyed sharing ideas, resources, and experiences with fellow educators. I enjoyed using resources like the class text because Roblyer and Hughes (2023) provided a lot of insight of technology role in the classroom. This allowed for a different perspective and allows me to go into a wider knowledge base. Building professional connections and participating in communities of practice can provide ongoing support and inspiration. I am looking forward to this upcoming school year because I have more confidence and an understanding of how and why technology should be included in the classroom.

Written Explanation
I selected to use Blooket to review a lesson on point of view and compare and contrast of Cinderella stories due to its interactive and engaging features. Blooket provides a gamified learning experience that can capture students' attention and promote active participation. By incorporating elements of competition and rewards, it can enhance motivation and make the review process more enjoyable for students. In the context of point of view and comparing Cinderella stories, Blooket can offer various game modes, such as multiple-choice questions, flashcards, and matching exercises. These interactive formats can help reinforce students' understanding of different perspectives and story elements, while also assessing their knowledge in a fun and dynamic manner. I think Blooket is beneficial to student learning because it builds confidence while encouraging student participation.
For students who may require additional support, assistive technologies can be utilized alongside Blooket to accommodate diverse learning needs. For example, screen readers or text-to-speech software can be employed to provide audio support for students with visual impairments or reading difficulties. This would enable them to access the content of the Blooket game and actively participate in the review activity. Additionally, providing alternative technology tools or programs can offer a different form of instruction and engagement. For instance, students could use multimedia creation tools such as video editing software, digital storytelling platforms, or presentation software to create their own visual representations of point of view or compare and contrast Cinderella stories. They could produce videos, slideshows, or interactive presentations that demonstrate their understanding of the concepts in a creative and personalized way. Incorporating assistive technologies and alternative technology tools/programs, educators can provide differentiated instruction that caters to students' individual needs and learning preferences. This approach ensures that all students, regardless of their abilities or learning styles, can actively engage with the content, reinforce their understanding, and showcase their knowledge in diverse ways.

Coming of Age
I enjoyed this text because I could identify with the text. Witnessing the changes of older language, communication, and physical tools used for communication I was really engaged with the reading. Understanding not only what people said but how they did so is just important. I reflected on old cave pictures or quilts that told a story, and how some people do not realize how they help people to communicate. Knowing previous methods of communication allows also for a communication system that is constantly evolving. Some of the tools people use today would never been thought of years ago. Although I enjoy the modern language and the different methods I am able to use to do so such as the internet, the cell phone, and instant messaging systems I feel that words in previous years meant more and left less room for misunderstandings.
